WHY TALLOW?

Tallow provides incredible benefits in skin care products and results in hard, long-lasting bars of soap when used in high-percentages, as ours are formulated. Tallow contains Vitamins A, D, K, and E, and loads of free-radical fighting antioxidants. The natural oils in tallow get absorbed quickly and reduce cellular dryness. Tallow is non-greasy, doesn't clog pores, and is generally suitable for both dry and oily skin. The tallow in our soaps is sustainably-sourced from grass-fed cows.

WHY GOAT'S MILK?

Goat milk soap boasts high amounts of Alpha-Hydroxy Acids such as lactic acid and caprylic acid, allowing for gentle removal of dirt and debris without removing the skin’s natural fatty acids.

VITAMIN D3

In addition to tallow and goat's milk, we also love using local pasture-raised lard in our soaps. Lard is an excellent source of vitamin D3, which can help protect skin and hair from UV damage.

ESSENTIAL & FRAGRANCE OILS

We only use oils which are tested safe for use in cold-process soaps, and adhere to safe usage rates based on the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) 51st Amendment standards.

LOVELY LATHER

Last but not least, we add just enough sustainably-sourced coconut oil and castor oil to our recipes to produce a beautiful, stable lather!
