FIRST, CHOOSE YOUR FATS:
(Choose plain tallow, or we can add just the right amount of olive or grapeseed oil to make your tallow balm a bit softer and elevate its nutrient content)

---> Plain tallow balm is a great starting point for extra-sensitive skin, babies, and those wanting to eliminate allergy concerns.
[Tallow + Pure Grapeseed Oil]
---> High in linoleic acid and antioxidants. Anti-aging properties. Grapeseed oil is less comedogenic than olive oil, and therefore better suited to most skin types, including acne-prone skin.
[Tallow + Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil]
---> Rich in oleic acid and antioxidants. Deeply moisturizing and highly beneficial for very dry skin. Anti-aging properties. Not recommended for acne-prone skin.

[Bergamot Essential Oil]
---> Bergamot is well known to brighten and invigorate dull skin, reduce the appearance of scars, and much more. That said, our regular bergamot essential oil isn't recommended for very sensitive skin, and we always recommend using balms containing Bergamot oil as a part of your night time skin care routine to reduce the possibility of sun sensitivity*.
*If you are concerned with photo toxicity, please message us to get on the waiting list, as we will be transitioning in the coming weeks to a Bergamot FCF essential oil (Furanocoumarin Free). This type of of bergamot essential oil has had the bergapten, a phototoxic furanocoumarin, removed. This makes it safer for topical use, especially when exposed to sunlight, as bergapten can cause skin sensitivity and phototoxicity. This oil will mean a slight price increase, but it's totally worth it in our opinion as it has all the benefits of Bergamot with zero worries about phototoxicity.

---> Because our 16 ounce jars are hand made one at a time, you have the option of choosing just how "whipped" you want your balm. "Lightly Whipped" will give you the most bang for your buck since there will be less air and more product in your jar, or you can choose "Whip it Good!" if you prefer a fluffier moisturizer. The price is the same!
